Along with DC Department of Parks & Recreation, Mayor Bowser's Commission on Father, Men and Boys, and Deputy Mayor for Greater Economic Opportunity, CAJOU is co-sponsoring a celebration of fathers at the Father's Day 5K Run and Fun Walk. It is FREE to and participants will receive a free Father's Day 5K dry fit t-shirt, complimentary refreshments, and fitness tips. This will be a fun and active way to celebrate fathers of all ages.

On this evening, we celebrate Juneteenth with the theme Food as Freedom. This unique event, hosted by Women Advancing Nutrition Dietetics and Agriculture (WANDA), Cajou & Cuisine Noir Magazine, will allow space for women to embrace, share, exhale & just be, surrounded by beauty, fortified by wonderful food, and free to unearth our stories of food as power, liberation, freedom and strength.
